Yangon – Bagan –Popa – Yangon

This tour is designed for those who are interested in archeological site of Bagan  and spirit( Nat ) worshipping at Mt popa which is  known as oasis of central Myanmar .

Day 01: Yangon – Arrival ( Transfer only )

Upon arrival in Yangon, you will be meet and greet by your guide and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 02: Yangon – Bagan ( Car + Morning Flight ) B , L , -

This morning breakfast box will be provided at hotel before leaving for airport.  After breakfast depart for Bagan  an ancient city and birth place of Buddhism.  Arrived Bagan and sightseeing starts by going to the  clay pot mound to see the beautiful panoramic view of Bagan. Then proceed to visit  Nyaung Oo  local fresh fruits and veggies Market. After the market explore  Shwezigon pagoda  which is a prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Before lunch visit Ananda temple which has architectural masterpiece of Bagan valley. Lunch at local restaurant by the river . Then after lunch check in at hotel. Later afternoon visit start with  Htilominlo temple famous for its stucco work . Then proceed to legendary massive temple of Dhammayangyi temple .Then before sunset visit one of the most authentic product of lacquer ware work shop to learn about local authentic handicraft from 11 century AD. Then beautiful boat ride on the majestic ayerwaddy river for sunset .Dinner on own but we will suggest the place to dine base on your favorite and car is at your disposal to go to dinner .Overnight at hotel .

Day 03: Bagan – Popa – Bagan ( Car ) B , L , -

Breakfast at Hotel. After breakfast drive through central Myanmar out of bagan towards to Extinct volcano called Mt Popa. It is about one hour and 15 minutes away from Bagan. It is an oasis of dry zone of central Myanmar and  place of Nat worship. On the way stop at Palm sugar place for learning how to make sky beer and distillation process of local spirit.  Arrive Mt Popa and walk along the exciting stair way of over 800 steps (optional) and arrive top to see the view. From the top of the Mt. Popa visitors can enjoy the panoramic view and feed the semi tame monkey along the stairways. Then drive to beautiful resort and have lunch with the amazing view of Popa  plateau . After lunch return to Bagan. In the evening by the boat ride on the Majestic Ayerwaddy river at sunset. Dinner on own but car is at your disposal for going to dinner .Over night at hotel .

Optional :Please note that this morning you can take balloon over bagan at your choice since time is permitted and it is a one of the highlight of Bagan.Balloon flight fly over 3000 dotted temples at the time of sunrise for 01 hour .

Day 04: Bagan – Yangon - Departure ( Car + Morning Flight ) B , L , -

After breakfast depart for Nyaung U airport to fly back to Yangon. Arrived Yangon and sightseeing start with circular train ride in the city to see the ways of life of people beyond big city of yangon .After train ride you will be pick up  at the train station and  drive to  Chaukhtatgyi  reclining Buddha, the second largest reclining Buddha in Myanmar with  213 foot long. Lunch at Authentic local restaurant . Then proceed for shopping at the biggest market of Yangon scott market ( closed on Monday and every gazette holiday Then evening  visit  Shwedagon pagoda one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist monument in Myanmar. In the evening  transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Bangkok.
