Day 01: Arrival -Yangon D

Upon arrival in Yangon, meet and greet by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Trip meeting with our expert guide before dinner. Welcome dinner at local restaurant with Myanmar authentic cuisine. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Yangon B/L

Yangon is the commercial capital of Myanmar and home for the more than six million people. Our morning sightseeing begins with orientation walk in the old city canter where you can see old colonial buildings built by British. Then proceed to train station for the circular train ride about an hour. Then continue by local taxi to the fresh market, explore the market.  Then light lunch at local tea house. Back to hotel after lunch.

In the afternoon proceed to the Shwedagon pagoda visit, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist monument in Myanmar. You will witness religiosity of Myanmar people as well as architectural masterpiece. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Yangon -Bagan (Flight & Car & Cruise) B/L/D

Embarkation to the Cruise

This morning depart for Bagan an ancient city and birth place of Buddhism by flight . Arrived Bagan and bring you to the mound to see the beautiful panoramic view of Bagan. We will proceed in the archiological zone by walking around the old Bagan & Tharaba gate.  Making lacquare wear is famous handicraft of Bagan, visiting to the lacquare wear work shop as part of your learning and shopping.  Afternoon transfer to your cruise and check in at 12:30pm and enjoy lunch on board. After lunch on board, we will visit Kayminga pagoda complex to see the different architecture of the stupas first-hand. After, visit the Ananda Temple, known for its unique architectural style .

Enjoy the sunset over the Bagan plains and admire the light change on the pagodas as they exude antiquity and mystery. Finally the sun sets behind the hills on the far side of the Irrawaddy River, filling the sky with a reddish glow, a truly magic moment.

A welcome briefing and champagne reception will be hosted in the Kansi Panorama Lounge before a candlelit sandbank dinner is served with the backdrop of the twinkling lights of Bagan.

Day 04: Set sailing from Bagan B/L/D

Choose between an early morning balloon tour (an additional charge applies, please book in advance) or visit the bustling local market of Nyaung U. The daily market is where the farmers meet to buy and sell a variety of goods, ranging from fruit and vegetables to china and lacquer ware.

Next, on to the great golden Shwezigon Pagoda this is said to contain important relics of the Gautama Buddha, two bones and a copy of a tooth. We will then return to the ship and start sailing upstream towards Sagaing during which a variety of on board activities will be offered including a Longyi (sarong) and thanaka (cosmetic) demonstration, and a talk on Myanmar. A delicious dinner in the Talifoo Restaurant will then follow.

Day 05: Mandalay B/L/D

Enjoy a back of house tour and cooking class with our Executive Chef as we cruise the Irrawaddy.  In the afternoon visit the pagoda sprinkled Sagaing Hill, an important religious and monastic center, home to some 554 monasteries and 6,000 monks and nuns. Here we will visit a Monastic school where you will have the opportunity to meet some of the residents and understand the teachings of Buddhism. Afterwards, take in the views from the top of the hill on the terraces of the Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda which are truly breathtaking.

Amarapura was once known as ‘The City of Immortals’. Today, the leisurely ‘clack-clack’ from the looms of the cotton and silk weavers has replaced the noisy bustle of this former capital.

Visit the U Bein Bridge, a spectacular place to enjoy the sunset. This long teak bridge snakes across the Taungthaman Lake. After sunset, return to the Sanctuary Ananda.

Day 06: Mandalay -Mingun - Mandalay B/L/-

Disembarkation

Breakfast is served before check out in Mandalay.

The visit will include Mahamuni Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most religious monuments. Kuthodaw Pagoda (Maha Lawka Marazein) built by King Mindon in 1857, in effect a copy of the Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon sightseeing excursion to explore the life of Ayerwaddy River. We take the pleasant local boat ride to Mingun across the majestic Ayerwaddy River, the main river of Myanmar. Cruising time will be about one hour for upstream to Mingun.

Arrived Mingun and take the walking tour by visiting biggest unfinished pagoda Mingun Patho Taw Gyi, biggest Ringing bell in the world and beautiful Myatheindan pagoda which has the similar story of Taj Mahar in India. Shopping opportunities of local products along the walking tour. After walking tour take the boat ride back to Mandalay. Dinner on own arrangement .Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Mandalay - Heho - Inle (B/L)

One of the highlight destinations in Myanmar is located in Shan State called Inle Lake. Take a short flight to Heho then arrives and transfer to Nyaung Shwe by car which takes about an hour drive. On the way visit the most typical Shan wooden monastery which is over 150 years old called Shwe Yan Pyay. Then proceed to Nyaung Shwe small town which is a gate way to Inle Lake and transferred to the lake by boat. Lunch at local restaurant.  After lunch take the boat to the Phaung DawOo Pagoda, lotus weaving work shop, floating gardens of tomatoes. On the way back to hotel pass by boat to the villages which are built on the bamboo stilt. Return to hotel. Dinner on own .Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: Inle - Indein B/L/D

Today we are going to explore starting by five days market to see colorful vegetables which are regional products and its people. After the market we will continue to drive towards the Indein pagoda complex, an ancient archiological ruins sites. Lunch at local restaurant located in Indein. After lunch return to hotel.  In the evening we will visit one of the main productions of the Red mountain wine yard. Later enjoy tasting wine and return back to Hotel. Dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Inle - Heho – Yangon B/L/D

Transfer to the Heho airport to fly back to Yangon. Arrived Yangon. And lunch at local restaurant. Then visit to the most beautiful reclining Buddha with 70 m long.

Check in at hotel. Our insight experience is meeting with the astrologer. Time at leisure until dinner or shopping at the biggest market of Yangon Scott market. Farewell dinner at fine dinning Le Planteur Restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Yangon Departure B
