Day 01: Yangon - Arrival

Upon arrival in Yangon, welcome by our TAM representative and transfer to hotel. Our sightseeing begins with Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which is a 70 m long Reclining Buddha. As an another interesting part of the city, we cross the Yangon River by ferry and visit other side small town Dala by local transport called trishaw. Dhala is also a junction car station to the other Regions of Myanmar and In Dala we will see the another perceptive of Yangon . After a wonderful tour take the ferry back to Yangon . Then we will stop at legendary Strand hotel for drink and continue around Yangon ‘s colonial building well maintained by the Yangon Heritage Trust organization. Then back to hotel . Dinner at typical local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Yangon - Golden Rock (by car & public truck)

Our Private car awaits you in the morning and with our expert guide, we start our journey to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo) which is situated in Mon State (southern part of Myanmar), 160 km away from Yangon about four hours drive to the base camp. Lunch will be on the rout. From the base camp takes a public truck with local to the summit, you will be on the truck about 45 minutes to an hour. The speedy ride along the narrow paved road gives you an excitement and beautiful scenery of the unspoiled forest. Once at the summit, check-in hotel. After a short walk, we will be at the Golden Rock, most venerated pagoda by Buddhist people and famous for its miracle and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff with the amazing view. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Golden Rock - Mawlamyaing (by car)

Around 8 a.m., check-out hotel. Walk to the truck station and back to based camp. Drive another three hours trip to Mawlamyaing which is the third largest city in Myanmar. Having lunch at local restaurant and check in hotel. After refreshing for a while our visit begins with Mahamuni pagoda, beautiful Queen Sein Don Monastery and First Baptist Church or Judson’ church and at the end of the day visit Kyaik Than Lan pagoda to see the Panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mawlamyaing (by car)

Morning sightseeing begins with colorful market along the busy road on the river bank and then proceed to the Pa-Auk Tawya Monastery & Meditation Center which is situated southern part of Mawlamyaing (nine miles away) and the most famous meditation center in Myanmar where you can learn well about monks and nuns daily life, Win Sein Tawya Buddha Image which is the largest Buddha image in the world. Then we proceed to the memorial of the WW II Thanbyu-zayat renowned for its death railway and War Cemetery of allied POWs then drive back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Mawlamyaing - Hpa-an (by car)

Karen State is one of the beautiful states and famous for its natural, renowned scenery and caves decorated with |Buddha images. Today we travel to Hpa-an is the capital city about one an half hour from Mawlamyaing. The city which is situated on the bank of Than Lwin River, one of the main rivers of Myanmar. Tour highlights are Kawtgon Cave, Mt. Zewgapin foot area, Kyaikalat pagoda then lunch at local restaurant then driver outside of city to the Sadden Cave, famous for its beautiful Buddha statues.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Hpa- An -Bago -Yangon (by car)

After breakfast, drive back to Yangon on the way visit the city of Bago, an ancient capital of Myanmar dating back to 15th century. Before we arrive there, along the way we enjoy the beautiful landscaping and photos stop of plantations, paddies field. We bring you to Kambowza Thazi Palace Site to get to know more about Golden glory of second Myanmar Empire .Then proceed to visit beautiful reclining Buddha from 16th century called Shwe Thalaung, and then Kyaik Pun Pagoda seated Buddha statues which is the famous one with old legendary story of four sisters. Continue to Yangon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Yangon - Mandalay (flight & Car)

Take early morning flight to Royal Mandalay, our tour of Mandalay starts visiting Mahamuni Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most religious monuments .Then as learning and discovering the famous handicraft of Mandalay such as tapestry making & gold leave making workshop. Transfer to the restaurant for lunch before check in hotel.
In the late afternoon bring you to Golden Palace Monastery then Kuthodaw Pagoda (Maha Lawka Marazein) built by King Mindon. There is a saying in Myanmar which hands down from our ancestors “If you’d like to live long, take the shelter of Mandalay Hill.” So, drive up to the historically and religiously famous site, Mandalay Hill to see the bird eye view of the city then back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Mandalay - Mingun - Amarapura- Mandalay

In the morning an hour upstream local private boat trip to Mingun which is across the majestic Ayerwaddy River, the main river of Myanmar. Arrived Mingun and take a walking tour by visiting biggest unfinished pagoda Mingun Patho Taw Gyi, biggest Mingun ringing bell in the world and beautiful Myatheindan pagoda which has the similar story of Taj Mahar in India.

Shopping opportunities of local products along the walking tour. After walking tour, take the boat ride back to Mandalay. Lunch will be at the local restaurant.

In the late afternoon drive to the small city of Amarapura means Immortal city, one of the ancient capitals before Mandalay. First visit the silk weaving workshop, famous for the royal family fashion design of 18th century. Then proceed to the Highlight of the tour is 1.2 km long U Peing Bridge form 18th century know us the longest wooden teak bridge in the world.

Day 09: Mandalay - Monywa ( By car )

Starting trip to the northwest commercial capital of Sagaing Region, on the way photo stop at the Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda, then continue to Monywa which is located on the bank of Chindwin River, the biggest tributary of Ayerwaddy River. Your visit should not miss the amazing Thanbudae Pagoda, Bawdithaung pagoda, the highest Standing Buddha image of Myanmar. Then about twenty minutes drive continuously to Monywa and walk along the strand road of Monywa before check in at hotel .Overnight at hotel .

Day 10: Monywa - Pakkouku - Bagan( by car & walking Tour & Boat )

After breakfast check out hotel and ride more than an hour drive to the hidden archaeology site, it is called Phowin Taung, which is more than 800 grottos, each and every one is housed different sizes of Buddha images with various positions. Also we can see the 17th, 18th century mural on the ceiling of some of caves. We walk around up and down the caves and explore the site; sometime lots of semi-tail monkey are waiting for the local pilgrims to be fed. Then back to Monywa and have lunch there. After lunch continue to Pakkouku by car about three hours. As alternative mode of transport, we take the boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River from Pakkouku to Bagan about two hours. We will enjoy the sunset along the trip .Arrived Bagan and transfer to the hotel.

Day 11: Bagan

Bagan which is 11th century an ancient capital and the birth place of Buddhism .Our tour begins with the Nyaung U market where you can see the colorful local product of vegetables also daily life of the people.

Then we bring you to the Shwezigon pagoda prototype of later Myanmar stupa, Wet-Kyi In Gubyaukgyi temple famous for its fine mural painting, Htilominlo temple noted for its plaster carving. Lunch at local restaurant. In the late afternoon we will visit Ananda temple, where you can see finest architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek-cross ground plan. Bagan being famous for handicraft lacquer ware work shop is also a must thing to discover. Before sunset enjoy the panoramic view of Bagan plain from one of mounds in Bagan. After sunset time, transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Bagan - Popa – Bagan ( by car )

Discovering the local believers home for the Nat (sprit) which is out of Bagan. The half day journey starts by car towards the extinct volcano called Mt Popa. It is about one hour and fifteen minutes away from Bagan. It is an oasis of dry zone of central Myanmar and place of Nat (sprit) worship. On the way stop at Palm sugar place for learning and discovery about sky beer and distillation process of local spirit. Arrive Mt Popa and walk along the exciting stair way of over 800 steps (optional). From the top of the Mt. Popa visitors can enjoy the panoramic view and feed the semi tame monkey along the stairways. Then drive to beautiful resort and have lunch with the amazing view of Popa plateau. After lunch return to Bagan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake ( Early morning flight,beautiful boat ride on the lake )

One of the highlights destination in Myanmar is Inle Lake, is a natural lake. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Heho. Arrive and transfer to Nyaung Shwe by bus which takes about an hour drive. On the way visit the most typical Shan wooden monastery which is over 150 years old called Shwe Yan Pyay. Then proceed to Nyaung Shwe city which is a gate way to Inle Lake. As an orientation sight for the small town, take a short trishaw ride then transferred to the lake by boat. Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch take the long tailed boat to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, lotus weaving work shop, floating gardens of tomatoes. On the way back to hotel pass by boat to the remote villages which are built on the bamboo stilt. Return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14: Inle - Indein ( Boat ride )

Another way to explore life of the people is going to the market. Today we are going to explore starting by five days market to see colorful tribes and regional products of Shan state. After that we proceed to Indein pagoda complex, a rich archeological ruins religious site located on the western part of the lake. Lunch at local restaraunt. After lunch proceed to the silver smith workshop. Continue to the village and visit around the village by canoe boat then return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Heho - Yangon

After breakfast depart for Heho airport to fly back to Yangon. Arrived Yangon around noon then transfer to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch and shopping at the biggest market of Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market: closed on Monday and every gazette holiday). In the late evening we visit the site of heart of Myanmar people, Shwedagon pagoda, and the most venerated religious site in Myanmar. Then transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Departure Yangon

Breakfast at hotel transfer to the airport to take the international flight (anytime) .
