Day 01 Yangon Arrival- D

On arrival Yangon (any time), welcome by our TAM representative and transfer to hotel. Trip briefing with TAM Residence Tour Leader at hotel.Then follow by the welcome dinner by introducing with the traditional cuisine. Then back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Yangon B/ L/D

Yangon means “ends of enemy”, once called Rangoon by British which is located on the bank of Yangon River and home for more than six million people. Today sightseeing starts with an orientation walk,we bring you around the city hall area near the Sule Pagoda where you can see the various religious monuments, then proceed to one of the main roads there old colonial style buildings remain from 19th century. We will have light lunch at the local hygiene tea shop not only to taste the various kind of food (snacks, noodle, local tea, soup) but also to understand the tea shop culture in Myanmar.

In the late afternoon, we bring you to the National Museum to understand about more history and culture of Myanmar. Follow by the Shwedagon Pagoda, the heart of Myanmar people and the most venerated religious site. Dinner at local restaurant.Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Yangon B/D

Our sightseeing begins with Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which is a 70 m long Reclining Buddha and one of the most beautiful reclining Buddha images. As Part of the learning, visit the nunnery where you can learn about the daily life and role of the nuns in Myanmar. More than hundred various ages of the nuns are living there. After that bring you to Bogyoke Aung San Market or Scott Market, the biggest market in the old downtown area.

As another interesting part of the city, we cross the Yangon River by ferry and visit other side small town, Dahla by local transport called trishaw. Dhala is also a junction car station to the other Region and busy with the sellers and local travelers. Before sunset, take the ferry back to Yangon. Dinner at local restaraunt and overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Yangon - Bagan (By flight) B, L

Bagan which is 11th century an ancient capital and the birth place of Buddhism. Sightseeing begins going to the mound to see the beautiful panoramic view of Bagan. Then proceed to visit Nyaung Oo local fresh fruits and veggies Market. After the market explore Shwezigon Pagoda which is a prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Before lunch visit Ananda temple which has architectural masterpieceresembling a Greek-cross ground plan of Bagan valley.

Bagan being famous for handicraft lacquer ware work shop is also a must thing to discover in the late afternoon. Before sunset enjoy the boat ride on the mighty AyeyarwaddyRiver.Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Bagan - Popa - Bagan B/ L/D

Discovering the local believershome for the Nat (sprit) which is out of Bagan. The journey starts by bus towards the extinct volcano called Mt Popa. It is about one hour and fifteen minutes away from Bagan. It is an oasis of dry zone of central Myanmar and place of Nat (sprit) worship. On the way stop at Palm sugar place for learning and discovery about sky beer and distillation process of local spirit.

Arrive Mt. Popa and walk along the exciting stair way of over 800 steps (optional). From the top of the Mt. Popa visitors can enjoy the panoramic view and feed the semi tame monkey along the stairways. Then drive to beautiful resort and have lunch with the amazing view of Popa plateau. After that return to Bagan. Tonight dinner will be at the restaraunt with the traditional culture show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Bagan B/L

(Optional pre booking)  Balloon Ride in Bagan in the morning over the temples!

An authentic local transport in Bagan is horse & cart, in the morning we bring you to the middle of the temples and stupas by taking horse & cart. Introducing Htilominlo temple which is famous for its stucco work also enjoylearning for sand painting and shopping inside the pagoda complex.

In the later afternoon, take a bus ride towards to the eastern part of Bagan by visiting the watch tower then have a cup of coffee or tea at the hotel restaurant to enjoy the view for incredible moment. Then proceed to the village to walk around there and explore the life of the people living beyond the temples. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Bagan - Mandalay (By Flight) B/L

Take early morning flight to Royal Mandalay, our tour of Mandalay starts visiting Mahamuni Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most religious monuments.Then as learning and discovering the famous handicraft of Mandalay such as tapestry making&gold leave making workshop. Transfer to the restaurant for lunch before check in hotel.

In the late afternoon bring you to Golden Palace Monastery then Kuthodaw Pagoda (Maha Lawka Marazein) built by King Mindon.  There is a saying in Myanmar which hands down from our ancestors “If you’d like to live long, take the shuttle of Mandalay Hill.” So, drive up to the historically and religiously famous site, Mandalay Hill to see the bird eye view of the city then learning the daily life of the monk at the famous Shwe Kyin Monastery then transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Mandalay - Mingun - Amarapura- Mandalay (By car & boat) B/L/D

An hour upstream local private boat trip to Mingun which isacross the majestic Ayerwaddy River, the main river of Myanmar. Arrived Mingun and take a walking tour by visiting biggest unfinished pagoda Mingun Patho Taw Gyi, biggest Mingun ringing bell in the world and beautiful Myatheindan pagoda which has the similar story of Taj Mahar in India.

Shopping opportunities of local products along the walking tour. After that, take the boat ride back to Mandalay. Lunch will be at the local restaurant.


In the late afternoon drive to the small city of Amarapura means Immortal city, one of the ancient capitals before Mandalay. First visit the silk weaving workshop, famous for the royal family fashion design of 18th century. Then proceed to the Highlight of the tour is U Peing Bridge the longest wooden teak bridge in the world. Transfer back to hotel, quick fresh up then try the Mandalay late evening life at B.B.Q & Beer Station.

Day 09 Mandalay -Pindaya- Kalaw ( by flight) B/L

One of the highlights destination in Myanmar is Inle Lake & its surrounding, is located in Southern Shan State which is home for the more than thirty ethnic groups by speaking different languages. In the morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Heho.After arriving at Heho drive about one and half hours to a small beautiful town called Pindaya, perched on the bank of the lake. Visit the amazing Pindaya cave which is a huge natural lime stone cave where hundreds of Buddha images in various sizes and shapes are installed since the 11th century. Lunch at Green Tea Restaurant. Before drive out from Pindaya, visit small Shan umbrella & Shan paper workshop. Depending on the season of the year, on the way to Kalaw, the hill station town, the colorful scenery from the local’s vegetable farms is incredible to enjoy as a view. Arrive Kalaw then check in hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Kalaw soft hiking & visit elephant camp( Total walking time 2 hrs ) B/L/D

Meet at Wet Pyu Ye junction, where our trek guides are waiting.Walk to the camp, Chance to see butterflies, birds, and orchids along the trek.Arrived to our elephant village and have brief information about the project (as well as safety instruction)

  • Wash and feed the elephants as per  program.
  • Riding is not our main focus. We will let you be in touch with our elephants as Mahouts during the washing time.
  • Opportunity to help in our forest recovery project. You are welcome to join us by planting one regional tree for forest recovery efforts. (Team will assist for planting program).
  • Due to the season, we do not operate planting trees the whole year. But we welcome you to help in our seedling process for forest recovery program.Lunch will be served at the main camp.

After lunch visit  recycle paper project from elephant poo, and further learning elephant study with Skeleton.

Drive back to your destination.Dinner at local restaurant .Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 Kalaw - Inle Lake B/L

Drive to the train station and take the local train ride about thirty minutes to the next station. Then Nyaung Shwe by bus which takes about one and half hour drive.Nyaung Shwe small town which is a gate way to Inle Lake.Take the boat ride to the restaurant for lunch.

After lunch take the long tailed boat to theLotus weaving workshop,floating gardens of tomatoes and pass by boat to the remote villages which are built on the bamboo stilt. Return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12 Inle B/L

Another way to explore life of the people is going to the market. Today we are going to explore starting by five days market to see colorful tribes and regional products of Shan state. After that we proceed to Indein pagoda complex, a rich archeological ruins religious site located on the western part of the lake. Lunch at local restaraunt. After lunch proceed to the Silver smith workshop. Continue to the village and visit around the village by canoe boat then return back to hotel. Dinenr on own  at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13- Inle full day sightseeing by boat B/L/D

This morning we are going to explore southern part of the lake .If match with the lunar calendar we are going first to the local colourful market  to meet with local tribes in their full costume such as pa o ,palaun , danuandInnthar ,Beside we will encounter the local largest arts and handicraft market to purchase at the same time .

Today we discover first boatyard of the lake in which we understand how they make their long tail boat by hand.Then we proceed to traditional cheroot work shop own by local and you can have hands on experiences how to make cheroot .

Then lunch at local Inntha home as hosted lunch and have conversation with the family for further more to understand about their unique life on water .After this discussion with family we proceed to visit  Ngaphachaung monastery ( jumping cat monastery )to visit ancient Buddha images which are stored  at 150 years old monstery .At sunset time  drive back to hotel.Farewell dinner at hotel .Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Heho-Yangon (By Flight) B/L International Departure

After breakfast depart for Heho airport to fly back to Yangon. Arrived Yangon around noon then transfer to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch transfer to the hotel and rest of the day is leisure before until farewell dinner. Transfer to the airport to take the international flight (anytime).
